Education for Hope

The foundation education for hope was created in April 2008 by Tina Altieri and Awet kebedom. We want to be able to take this initiative out of the gray area and make it official and legal. Education for hope has been registered and founded in Landsmeer thanks to notary Ter Hoor. To enable the transfer of funds, Giordana is setting up an official counter organisation in Ethiopia. The bureaucracy in Addis Ababa will take much longer, so in the meantime we will use our proven method of sending and distributing the funds. The idea is to have a small but viable organisation dedicated to helping the children. From friends to friends.........

Starting this small initiative is the first step and hopefully all of us together can make it into a great success

The goal of Education for Hope is to send children to school in Ethiopia and provide them with medical care if they need it. We hope that they will be the ones who will, in the near future, make a positive change to the economic and social conditions of the country.
